Child Abuse Resource Education (CARE) Sessions

The Audrey Hepburn CARE Center and the New Orleans Children’s Advocacy Center offer numerous free training opportunities that can be customized for your group.  Trainings are available for professionals who handle abuse cases and for the general public to gain an understanding of child abuse and available services in our community. Since 2010, 3,052 members of the community have attended CARE Sessions to help educate and raise awareness for child abuse.

Our next CARE Session is Thursday, July 16. There will be sessions on adolescent sexual behavior, family violence, triggers for first responders, and the roles of school social workers.

Please check out our Calendar for scheduled trainings or call us to organize a customized training opportunity.

New Orleans Children’s Advocacy Center Executive Director, Stacie LeBlanc, JD, MEd, educates the community on the importance of preventing child sexual abuse at a CARE Session.
